Recovery
Turn each flow on or off — mail still needs a sequence you own that is Active.
When recovery actually starts
Settings → Churnhook, on the Recovery card. Three owner-only switches: Unpaid, Leaving, and Win-back. A new workspace starts with all three off. Workspaces that already existed keep them on.
While a switch is off, churnhook does not start a new run for that event — a failed invoice, a scheduled cancel, or a cancellation. Runs already in progress keep going: Stop, Retry, and a customer claiming an offer still work.
A switch that is on is still silent until you have a sequence you own that is Active for that flow. Catalog examples never send.
Overview shows Active on a flow card only when both are true. Otherwise the badge is Paused. Hover it: Settings off and “no live sequence” are two different sentences.
Enroll is hidden on Unpaid, Leaving, or Win-back when that flow’s switch is off. Turn the switch back on here, then activate your sequence, to start covering new events again. On the trial the button stays visible but locked until you Subscribe — see Billing.
New runs can also stop because the churnhook plan itself lapsed. That banner lives on Settings → Billing, not on this tab.
Activate recovery and Skip and activate in Get started only flip these switches. They do not start mail by themselves. Finishing the checklist does not flip a switch either. Simulation still writes test objects to Stripe; mail starts only if the matching flow is on and a sequence you own is live.
A Recovery switch is not enough. You also need a sequence you own that is Active for that flow. Catalog examples never send.Below the switches, Restart cooldown sets how many days (0 to 30) churnhook waits before trying a Completed run again on the same subscription, one number per flow. It only applies when a run finished with no verdict — a win, a loss, or a Stop with "don't restart automatically" checked are not affected. That clock starts when the run becomes Completed, after the sequence's 72-hour Closing, not at the last email.
Ticket language
On the same tab, Ticket language sets French or English for the pages a recovery email opens (/offer, /pause, /keep, /portal) and for the muted plan line in those emails. Email previews use that same language. It is independent of the dashboard language. Only the owner can change it.
